Here at Light Touch Photography, we know how much you love your horse and with our bridle portraiture package we’d like to help you show that love to the world.

With a photographer who has worked as a groom at a private stables and livery yard, we have the knowledge to create stunning portraits of you and your horse, which you can show off via social media, a personalised album, or gorgeous wall art (among other options), to delight your family and make your friends jealous.

What is Bridle Portraiture?

A Bridle Portrait is similar to a portrait of a couple except we exchange the other person for your horse and pose you to create a portrait of the two of you together.  Whether you would prefer to be pictured in the saddle in full show dress, or in a pretty summer outfit in the field, we will bring our expertise and creativity to bear to provide you with an unrivalled reminder of your best friend and you.  And if you prefer not to pose for the camera but still want beautiful images of your animal friends, we can do that too.

What do you get?

When we meet you at your chosen location, we will take a variety of shots in your first outfit.  Once you have seen a few of these, we can discuss your preferred style or any ideas you may have and incorporate these into the rest of the shoot.  We will then continue after a change of outfit and/or scenery.  We can then break again for any further changes of look before a third and final portrait shoot with your horse.  Then, depending on time, we may be able to offer a final session of you with the horse in the background, stable or horse box.  The total time we would expect to spend with you is 2-3 hours.

Over the next two to three weeks or so, we will edit our best images from the day, and we can then either post these to your dedicated gallery on our website or arrange a meeting to discuss your order.

And the cost of all this photographic yumminess?

Just £199 if booked for mid-week or £249 at weekends, for the whole shoot, all editing, and either a further meeting to show you the images and finalise your order, or your finished images uploaded to your own personal gallery on our site, where social media-sized versions of all the images can be shared to Facebook, Twitter and Google+.  Print copies can also be ordered from the gallery.
